This organic tea is for teens, ladies of childbearing age, and women in menopause.

Did you know that painful, debilitating cramps during menstruation is not normal? Periods should also not be mentally and emotionally stressful. Nor, should they be irregular or extremely heavy. These issues are caused by a calcium and iron deficiency.

I created this tea blend specifically for myself and my teen. We had such success with this blend that I knew I had to add it to my product line. Many of my customers have found great relief with this product.

We began my daughter on this tea blend the week before her cycle and we have seen a miraculous turn around. She used to have horrible cramps, headaches, and mood swings prior to her cycle. Her pain would be so severe she would spend an entire day in bed. Now she has nothing more than a little low energy.

Find out why this tea is so beneficial below:

❤ Red raspberry leaf - The calcium, iron, and magnesium found in red raspberry leaf are often the very nutrients that women’s bodies need.

Other vitamins and minerals present in red raspberry leaves include phosphorus, potassium, vitamins A, B1, B2, and B3 as well as vitamins C and E, manganese, niacin, and selenium.

It is hailed as "the best all around herb for a healthy pregnancy".

It tonifies the uterus, increases fertility, eases morning sickness, and assists in milk production.

Nutrient content of some of the nutrients found in one ounce of red raspberry leaf:

408 mg calcium
446 mg potassium
106 mg magnesium
3.3 mg iron
4 mg manganese

The high iron available from red raspberry leaf can assist those dealing with anemia. This can happen a great deal in females who have profuse menstruation. If either calcium or iron are lacking in females, our hormones can easily become imbalanced.

She also helps prevent hot flashes and heavy bleeding during premenopause and menopause.

❤ Lemon balm (Melissa) - she has been used by the Greeks as far back as 2,000 years for many medicinal purposes.

A tea made from her leaves soothes menstrual cramps and helps relieve PMS. She takes nervousness, anxiety, chronic fatigue, tummy troubles, insomnia, and depression and crushes them under her gentle strength.

❤ Motherwort - is an herb in the mint family. It is used as a remedy for female reproductive disorders. It's said to help regulate menstrual periods, especially when someone is anxious or tense. It is called "a big warm hug" by many herbalists for it's emotional support.

She lessens the frequency of hot flashes and night sweats in menopause.

❤ Mugwort - this tall and hardy plant was named for the Greek Goddess of the moon “Artemis”, in respect of this herb’s benefits to women’s health – especially in menstruation, childbirth and menopause. Historically it has been used as a herbal inhibitor for menstrual cycles and to provide relief from symptoms of menopause. It was considered to be the universal herb for protection and prophecy – also used for pain, healing, and lucid dreaming.

❤ Burdock root - has been valued across continents for thousands of years for its ability to purify blood and cool internal heat. Internally and externally, it has potent anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects on the human body. This makes it great for menopausal hot flashes.

In traditional herbal texts, burdock root is described as a “blood purifier” or “alterative” and was believed to clear the bloodstream of toxins. Burdock root has active ingredients that have been found to detoxify heavy metals from the blood, improving organ health and the health of the whole body.

❤ Peppermint - acts as a gentle muscle relaxant and pain reliever, it can diminish certain types of headaches (menstrual included).

❤️ Orange peel for a little vitamin C and a whole lot of yummy!

❤️ Wild yam and rosemary to support menopause symptoms.

We have added the option - Extra Pain Relief Support. This consists of California Poppy for those who struggle with severe pain.

In a recent scientific study, 127 women who experienced painful periods, peppermint tea was found to be as effective as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug in reducing the intensity and duration of the pain.

Directions: Steep 1 teaspoon for 7 to 8 minutes. There are two size to choose from.

Drink 1 to 2 glasses daily. If you are drinking for menopause, you can make a 24 oz (4 teaspoons) the night before and let it sit overnight in the fridge. You can take it to work with you the next day and sip it throughout the day (as hot flashes) come or have a glass before bed over ice to help with night sweats.

If you are drinking for your monthly cycle, be sure to start having 1 to 2 cups 7 days prior to your cycle.

I like to add a little honey and lime/lemon juice to mine. YUMMY!
