ACULIFT Collagen Induction Therapy
ACULIFT Collagen Induction Therapy
The AcuLift™ Dermal Roller (a collagen induction therapy) may help treat signs of aging (such as fine lines and wrinkles), may tighten loose skin, may reduce acne scars and stretch marks, may smooth cellulite, and may help reduce hair loss. And when used before applying topical lotions or hair loss products, the effectiveness of these products is greatly increased.
The only derma roller approved by the American Acupuncture Council, the AcuLift™ Roller offers a safe alternative to ablative treatments such as laser resurfacing, chemical peels or dermabrasion, or non-ablative treatments such as IPL™, Fraxel™, or CO2 laser. It provides a non-invasive, easy-to-use and affordable way to improve the appearance of skin or hair.
The AcuLift™ Dermal Roller comes in a clear plastic case that can be used as storage in between uses. Each roller measures 5.25" l x 1.5" h tapering to 1" and is contoured to fit nicely in the hand. The roller itself has a diameter of 0.75" and contains 540 micro needles, 0.5mm in length.
Here's what makes the AcuLift™ Dermal Roller unique:
1) More needles. The AcuLift™ Roller uses 540 extremely fine (0.5 mm in length) needles, much like tiny acupuncture needles, that penetrate the skin just enough to stimulate production of collagen and elastin (protein fibers found in skin cells) without injury to the skin. Most commercially available micro-needle rollers use only 170 needles, and are unable to address finer lines around the lips and eyes.
2) A smaller roller head enables rolling around the lip area without risk of damage to the lips.
3) Shape of the needle. The AcuLift™ Roller uses diamond-shaped needles. These are safer and more secure than commonly used wire-shaped needles.
4) Safety. AcuLift™ Dermal Rollers are FDA approved, pre-sterilized, and made of lightweight, sterile, durable rustproof titanium over steel. They can maintain their sharpness for up to six months of daily use. AcuLift™ is the only FDA registered device available through acupuncturists in the US. Most dermal rollers are not FDA approved, or sterile.

I recommend also ordering the sanitizing tablets to help ensure you have a clean roller. Rollers last 3 months.
