Cleansing Detox Tea

We are constantly being bombarded with pollutants. No one gets it right all the time. The liver is one of the power centers of the body. The liver cleanses the body of all the poisons that infiltrate it daily, including fat, cholesterol, alcohol, drugs (both prescription and recreational), artificial flavors, colors, and preservatives, airborne pollutants, and other poisons in the food and water that we consume daily. While the liver's ability to deal with these toxins is extraordinary, once the limits of its function are exceeded, those toxins accumulate in the liver and cause disease. However, the good news is that the liver has the remarkable ability to restore itself. Sometimes the liver needs a little help.

organic ingredients: Hyssop (Hyssop officinalis), cilantro (Coriandrum sativum), milk thistle (Silybum marianum), peppermint leaf (Mentha piperita), dandelion root (Taraxacum officinale), fennel (Foeniculum vulgare), elder flower (Sambucus nigra), common nettle (Urtica dioica), parsley (Petroselinum crispum), uva-ursi (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi)

30 servings. Cover 1 tsp of herbal ally in 8 ounces of boiling water. Steep for 7 to 10 minutes. Strain off herb. Consume tea. Drink 1 cup a day, you do not need to consume more than 1 cup per day.

You can sweeten with local honey or add lemon. I prefer to add lime. You can also chill the tea once it has steeped and add it to a smoothie if that's something that you do 

Possible drug interaction: If you regularly take an Anticoagulant do not drink this tea due to the milk thistle.
