This is not only a delicious, organic tea but it is also a great immune system support. These cold months just call for a hot tea kind of night. This can be enjoyed at night as it is a caffeine free blend.
We wanted to give people who love our cold Elderberry & Wolfberry Super Syrup a hot option to warm those cold nights, although it can be enjoyed over ice as well. I do not suggest using this instead of the Elderberry & Wolfberry Super Syrup, I recommend using it in conjunction with the syrup. These are the same organic elderberries, wolfberries, orange peel, cinnamon, clove, and ginger root we use to make our powerful elderberry and wolfberry super syrup. Plus we have added in some other immune system benefiting herbs.
This blend gathers some powerful plant allies known for their immune system supporting ability, as well as a few to help make this a super pleasant blend. It's both herbaceous as well as floral with a slight hint of mint.
Elderberry has been long used for its antioxidant activity to boost the immune system for coughs, colds, sinus issues, upper respiratory issues, flu, bacterial and viral infections and tonsillitis.
Along with organic elderberries and wolfberries this tea includes: organic astragalus, organic nettle leaf, organic red clover blossoms, organic alfalfa leaf, organic sage leaf, organic ginger root, organic orange peel, organic rose hips, organic cinnamon, organic clove, organic spearmint, organic goldenrod, organic lavender, organic mullein leaf, & peppermint.
Yields 30 servings. That makes each cup of herbal, immune support goodness .43 cents each. You can't beat that for organic goodness. I like to add a teaspoon of raw, local honey. It's nothing less than scrumptious! Steep 1 tsp for 8 to 9 minutes in hot water. You won't find a tastier way to stay warm and well.
